Online Services


IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are currently registered to use TPP SystmOnline service, then just click on the "systmonline" icon below, to access the service. If you would like access on line, please contact us to arrange for registration with the service.


As part of our commitment to offering our services more flexibly, you can now access the following services online.

  • View your Detailed Coded Record

Please note to view your Detailed Coded Record you will need to do so by siging in to your online account and requesting access, you will then need to come into the surgery. You can download this application for online access form and bring with you two forms of identification in order to process your online services we need evidence of identity, one of these must contain a photo eg passport, driving licence, bank statement.  Alternatively you can download the NHS app and go through the authentication process via the app without the need to come in to surgery. 

This service will be available from the 31st of March 2016 any requests made before that time will not be actioned this means you will need to request the service again if you have already done so before that date.

When booking an appointment on the internet, we would like to ask new and existing patients to ensure appointments are booked appropriately. We do not offer telephone appointments via this facility, only face-to-face consultations.


We are offering 25 % of our appointments to book on line from July. This is with the core team. Some types of appointments cannot be booked as the times required vary - i.e. travel and some nurse types of appointments.


Some services operating out of our premises are provided by services and staff who are not part of our surgery team, so cannot be booked through ourselves  - i.e. counselling appointments.


Please read the guidelines below as booking into the wrong appointment type may mean we have to rebook when you arrive at the surgery, causing unnecessary inconvenience.


MINOR  ILLNESS NURSE APPOINTMENTS  - These appointments are NOT for chronic disease check-ups - like diabetes, asthma, copd etc, Some examples of the type of minor illness seen are:- impetigo, tonsillitis, allergies, ear ache. Full list is available here. Please check with us if you are unsure, as we have to re appoint if it is NOT something that is suitable for minor illness. 


PHLEBOTOMY - BLOOD TESTS - These are only if you have been asked by a clinician to book, or received a letter or a call asking you to book. These are not for patients who believe they may need a blood test, in these cases please book a Gp appointment to discuss your concerns.  The health care assistants work to strict guidelines and cannot just "do a blood test". Thank you for your understanding.


ASSESSMENT appointments are available with our health care assistants for some chronic disease management or long term conditions - i.e. Diabetes. Heart disease check ups.  These must only be booked if you have been invited for a review. 

TREATMENT ROOM NURSES  - one off appointments for removal of stitches, new simple dressings, adult injections (NOT TRAVEL as these need a variety of times depending as to where you are going) These are not for patients having regular dressings with the nurse, the nurse in those circumstances can book your appointments in advance for you. 

SMEAR APPOINTMENTS - If you have received a letter 


FAMILY PLANNING  - contraception advice, smears following letter invite

BABY IMMS - 4 weeks in between each appointment please.

GP APPOINTMENTS  - a few in advance, a few two days in advance, a few available to book on the day.  This is the fairest way we can allocate to ensure all have a chance of booking these. Please do not book a Gp appointment for something the nurse can deal with (as above), we really appreciate your support in leaving these for more complex matters.  

Nurse Practitioners can diagnose and treat many minor illnesses. Other conditions may be dealt with by having a telephone consultation, e.g. back pain, diarrhoea and vomiting.


If you are unsure as to whether you need to see a doctor or nurse please do not use the online service to book your appointment, but contact us by telephone. We will then ensure you are seen in the most appropriate clinic, which will save time for yourselves, and our doctors will be able to see more urgent cases.


In order to use online services:

  1. If you wish to register for these services, please ask at reception for a Application pack.
  2. Please read the guidance to setting up on-line access. If you are happy and wish to proceed, please come into the surgery with ID (proof of name and address) and the reception staff will arrange for you to register for on-line services.
  3. You will be asked to sign a disclaimer form and a username and password will be given to you. If you do not agree to sign the disclaimer, it will not be possible to register you for online services.

Please note: The practice does not manage the TPP SystmOnline website and therefore cannot provide help with using service. Help screens are provided on the website.
